Mid-West Family Marketing

Mid-West Family Marketing has been a proud sponsor of four Madison Police K9s: K9s Johnny, Greg & Frees (retired) and K9 Patton.

K9 Patton, also a German Shepherd, currently serves alongside Officer Nick Eull.

K9 Frees, a German Shepherd, joined the MPD K9 Unit in July 2014 and served alongside Officer Nick Eull from July 2, 2014 to May 1, 2018.

K9s Johnny and Greg were named after Johnny Danger and Greg Baer, two of WJJO’s morning radio personalities.

Johnny, a Belgian Malinois, was handled by Police Officer Jim Donnell. Together they worked in such areas as narcotics detection, tracking, and searching. Johnny retired just days shy of ten years of service, having served from February 16, 2005 to February 7, 2015.

Greg, a Dutch Shepherd, was handled by Police Officer Bart O’Shea. He was a dual-purpose K9, specializing in narcotics and patrol, and served from February 15, 2005 to April 20, 2010.Website construction and design is another aspect of Mid-West Family Marketing’s contribution. This very talented, dedicated staff of professionals introduced us to the intricacies of social media. Through their efforts, we’re “linked in” like never before. They helped us understand the importance of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), the process of affecting the visibility of our website.

For a non-profit fundraising organization like Capital K9s, this enhanced visibility will have positive effects like increased funds raised for the Madison Police Department K9 Unit.

The entire Madison community benefits!

Capital K9s is profoundly grateful to Mid-West Family Marketing for its support.
