Social Media Rules of Engagement

Capital K9s’ social media platforms are just a few of the many ways we stay connected with the community. We welcome and encourage dialogue and active participation. We ask all users to respect the rules of engagement outlined below. Violation of these guidelines may result in removal of your comments or posting privileges.

Civil, On-Topic Discourse

Capital K9s may edit or remove objectionable content that contains profanity, obscenity, violence, defamation, personal attacks, discriminatory content, threats, trademark or copyright violations, unrelated content, and any content that violates Capital K9s’ social media policies or federal, state, or local law.

Privacy Of Others

Refrain from sharing anyone’s personal contact information in your comments or discussions.

Do not “feed the trolls”

Users who intentionally provoke arguments or post inflammatory language are commonly referred to as “trolls.” We encourage community members to report abuse by trolls, but we also ask that you not respond to them in comment threads. We will remove all comments by trolls and those who engage with them.
